Hi, this may seem like a strange request but I'm currently designing a new website and I wondered if I could use your picture of a cup of tea?! I'm from Leeds, currently living in Dallas, Texas and am about to re-launch my voice-over career so am designing a funky website. I love your photo and being from the north, I do love a cup of tea! I would hope to use it faded in the background for my opening page with some text over the top. Would that be OK? I'd love to hear back from you - thanks - Ella Slayne

Hellloooooooo Maggu Dear,
To start with - All the emotions ran through my big head reading the article! I don’t know whether it was adrenaline or caffeine:). But one thing I must add to your article – good or bad, tea is the medium to communicate even in the corporate world at least for people like us who do not smoke…
A lot can happen over a cup of tea…
So very good article Sharma and keep it (C)up!!!

Well written sirji.. a wonderful expression of your love/passion for tea. Though I agree the filter coffee of Bangalore is a strong contender to tea, but I am sure with followers like you to back it, tea will never lose :)
I must say, you have a great style of writing and even more interesting choice of topics..
Am impressed!!

Well Mr. Sharma and tea seems inseparable for most part of their lives as yet. Well written Mohit… though honestly being a Non-Tea drinker I cannot comprehend the real tea value but probably I too agree with the effect of tea-meetings or rather tea-conferences in our day to day Indian life. Probably even European would not be able to discuss as much business with Wine glasses as we do it with our nationally preferred beverage. Good thoughts penned down somewhat unreservedly…..keep it up man !!!

Looks like you enjoyed the switch from "filter coffee" to chai. I was re-introduced to the filter coffee in Bangalore and I can say for sure that it is a mighty contender to the chai. Much refreshing than a cuppa Joe five times as big :)

In retrospect, I found chai at Banaras and found myself through chai, and since then have been in love with each other :)
